White fillings

White fillings (composite) are far more attractive than silver ones and can often blend seamlessly with natural tooth structure. They bond to natural teeth and require less tooth preparation to place than silver fillings. Contrary to popular belief, long term clinical trials show them to last as long as, or longer than, silver fillings but they require more time and clinical skill to achieve good results. Veneers

Veneers are porcelain facings that are bonded to the front of natural teeth. They can transform the appearance of heavily filled, chipped or mottled teeth. In many cases NO harmful removal of tooth structure is required but in some cases drilling is necessary. Veneers are very strong but must be treated with respect.

Tooth whitening

If you are happy with the shape and position of your teeth but wish they were whiter then this is a fantastic, completely non-invasive way to improve your smile. Bespoke, thin, soft, vacuum formed gum shields are used to hold whitening gel on your teeth for a few hours every day. Treatment time varies according to the starting colour and your whitening goals.
